This version features a black anodised aluminium base, delivering a deep, architectural contrast that pairs perfectly with matte black cases, smoked glass, carbon textures and minimalistic electronics.
Inside the tube, the signature hexagonal mesh creates a precise industrial pattern behind the digits, turning the glow into a refined design element rather than just a display.
The ZIN18 is intended for use with compatible high-voltage Nixie driver electronics and sockets used in Millclock ZIN18-based designs.
Each tube is handmade in Ukraine with carefully annealed glass and metal internals. This listing includes the tube only; driver electronics, socket and power supply are not included.

• Always switch off and disconnect the high-voltage power supply before inserting or removing the tube.
• Hold the tube only by the metal base, never by the glass.
• Align the pins precisely with your ZIN18-compatible socket/board and insert straight down without twisting.
• Use only appropriate drivers rated for compact Nixie tubes with correct voltage/current limits.
• Avoid shocks and rapid temperature changes; store and transport the tube in protective packaging.
This tube is supplied without a socket, driver or power supply. It is intended for makers, designers and technicians familiar with Nixie electronics.

Design & Materials
The ZIN18 pairs a compact cylindrical annealed glass bulb with a black anodised aluminium base. The dark base enhances the warm neon glow and fits perfectly into modern, minimal and industrial interiors.
Technology & Compatibility
The tube operates using cold-cathode neon glow discharge. It is designed for Millclock ZIN18-compatible sockets and driver boards. Use a properly rated high-voltage driver with stable current control.
Applications
Ideal for compact Nixie clocks, custom DIY builds, small-format display modules, design prototypes and boutique interior objects where precision and a controlled orange glow are essential.
Care & Maintenance
Clean only with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid liquids, chemicals and abrasives. When designing enclosures, ensure safe clearance and ventilation for long-term stable glow.

The quality of the clock is really high, however I was little disappointed it didn't come with the box and carry case pictured in one of the photos. However I am still happy with the clock it is exactly as in the photos, looks amazing!
